I’m sharing this on behalf of my mom, who has been through more than anyone should have to carry at once. 
 
After recent severe storms, multiple trees fell on her property, causing damage to both the home and vehicles. Since losing my dad, she has been trying to manage the upkeep of the property while also helping care for her 94-year-old mother several hours away. 
 
What many people may not know is that my dad did not have life insurance. Even though he and my mom had preplanned their funerals, he had stopped paying on his, which left my mom with a large unexpected expense after his passing. 
 
Now, on top of that, we are navigating insurance, cleanup, debris removal, and urgent repairs from the storm damage. The upfront costs are overwhelming, and we are trying to help ease some of that burden for her. 
 
Any support would mean so much to our family, whether that is a donation, sharing this fundraiser, prayers, or simply words of encouragement. We are incredibly grateful for any help during this difficult season.
