In Support of Brooke And Anuar Ayech Family

Brooke And Anuar Ayech Family
Salado residents Brooke May and Anuar Ayech are well-known for their incredible work ethic and outreach to our schools and community non-profits.  They have many times “paid it forward”, and now it’s our turn to step up for them.  A few weeks ago, Anuar became ill and it was discovered that he had a brain hemorrhage.  He had surgery, and it was hoped that he was on the road to recovery.  However, he fell ill again this week and has been hospitalized with fluid and more blood on his brain.  He had a procedure on Tuesday to drain the fluid and is now going into surgery again this afternoon to try and stop the bleeding.

Your prayers and your generosity are needed and deeply appreciated.  Anuar will be unable to go back to his construction job until he recovers, and he will need physical therapy to get back up to speed.  The therapy costs will be in the thousands, on top of the mounting hospital and doctor bills.  Brooke will continue to run her catering business, Hecho en Queso, so please remember her if you are planning a gathering.

Anuar is the rock in his family, a wonderful husband, father, son, and grandson.  Anything you can give to help him would be a blessing.
