Breakfast was served this morning. Tacos and tostadas. I have some last minute bookings for events this week so off to shop we went.
We go low and slow. Anuar gets tired pretty easy. This round is way different from the first surgery. He speaks slow…unless in Spanish. Sometime we have to catch breath. His left hand tends to tingle but will be fine. I know he’s frustrated but he is patient.
We have a full week of things. Appointments, Amelia’s school events, catering events. You name it. It’s a lot but we are making it through.
He cruised by work and talked to some of his buddies. That was good for all of them. I know everyone is worried and scared. We were, too. BUT I know we will have great days and challenging days and we just take it one step at a time.
For those telling me to take a break. I’ll try my hardest, but I’m not one to chill. We did sit down before we picked up Amelia and watched some crazy show the preachers wife or something. Crazy. We watch funny reels and cool trucks and cars, seasonal goodies and recipes. Amelia and Anuar like their movies. She’s a big Adam Sandler fan like her brother. Puzzle’s in the works. That’s about all I have.
Thank you all for the love and support. I’ll be in the kitchen stacking popsicle sticks while staying calm and strong. 😅
