In Support of Brenda
Hello family and friends,
I am reaching out to you because Brenda needs our support urgently. She is a victim of domestic violence and is facing the difficult situation of potentially becoming homeless. Brenda was told that if she got her husband arrested, help would be available to pay her rent for three months. This was meant to give her time to heal and stand on her own. Sadly, despite reaching out to numerous agencies listed in the resources she was given, there has been no help available. Brenda is unable to work at this moment because she still needs time to recover from her injuries. Without the means to pay her rent, she is at serious risk of losing her apartment and all her possessions.
Brenda is feeling hopeless, but we have the power to lift her up. By coming together as a community, we can make a difference for her. Here’s how you can help:
