Hello family and friends!
Meet Astrid Rhodes, a sweet 4-year-old girl. Astrid is non-verbal and was diagnosed with level 3 autism when she was just 2 years old. This means she has support needs that are quite high. Right now, Astrid is working hard with ABA therapy, but she faces challenges, like eloping and self-harming behaviors. We are aiming to get a service dog for Astrid. A trained autism service dog can help stop self-harm, keep Astrid from running away, and help her feel more comfortable in her surroundings. These dogs are also trained to alert caregivers if Astrid might be in danger.
We need your help to make this happen. Here’s how you can support Astrid:
