Asha was diagnosed with a DIPG/DMG brain tumor in late December 2023. She has been persevering with grace and grit since then. She underwent a full course of radiation in 2024, with steroid treatment afterwards. She bravely joined a trial for the drug ONC-201 and has had no new tumor growth until recently. She was able to continue to go to High School, spend time with her friends and be a teenager! Her travels have included a family trip to Santa Cruz California to be a bridesmaid in her aunt Melissa's wedding, a family trip Hawaii with her Dad, New York City at Christmastime, a special visit to an Culebra Puerto Rico, and a spiritual trip with her mom to Lourdes, France.
