It has been some time since our last update, and we are incredibly grateful for the love, prayers, and support everyone has shown Asha and our family over the past two and a half years.

Asha had a wonderful fall and winter with very little to report. Asha’s health remained stable and her spirits high. She was able to return to school part-time and spent cherished time with family and friends, creating memories that will always be treasured.

In early March, we learned that Asha’s tumor began to grow again. We had begun noticing increasing difficulties with her balance, speech and hand function, while migraines became more frequent and severe. Attending school and participating in activities she loved became increasingly challenging.

Since, Asha underwent a final round of radiation treatment, but unfortunately her symptoms have continued to progress.
Despite these immense challenges, there have been bright moments. This spring, through Make-A-Wish, Asha had the incredible opportunity to meet her idol, Gordon Ramsay, during a Zoom call. It was a truly special experience that brought her so much joy.

In May we celebrated Asha’s 17th birthday! Her aunts gave her the gift she had always dreamed of—a miniature dachshund named Buddy P. Buttons. Buddy has been a constant source of comfort, companionship, and happiness for Asha, Amy, and Taber during this difficult journey. A little miracle for all.

Amy stepped away from teaching in April to be home with Asha full time. To help support, her Aunts Samantha and Melissa have temporarily moved home to Rochester to assist her Aunt Erin in caring for Asha and helping Amy manage the household. Their support has allowed Amy to focus entirely on caring for her daughter.

This disease is cruel beyond words. Watching what it has done to our beautiful girl and the people who love her has been heartbreaking. As Asha continues her transition journey Amy, Asha, and Taber need our support now more than ever.
Any donation no matter the size will help ease the financial stress accumulated during this type of life event.

Most importantly we are  requesting meditations, prayers and creative acts in the spirit and soul reflection of our most precious, Asha. Exercising the energy of peace, care and wonder. Prayers of groundedness and love for Asha and her family.

If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community. Every share helps us reach more people and gives Amy one less thing to worry about as she focuses on caring for her daughter.
Thank you for your love, generosity, and continued support
