On Monday June 29th, we said goodbye to our beautiful Asha.

For the last 2.5 years, she fought with strength, courage, and grace that most of us can only hope to have. She faced more than anyone ever should, yet she never let her light go out. She kept smiling. She kept loving. She kept making everyone around her feel special.

Asha had a way of bringing joy wherever she went. She was kind without trying, funny without effort, and the kind of person who made every family gathering brighter simply because she was there.

Watching her grow up has been one of the greatest gifts. Through every challenge, she showed us what resilience, hope, and courage truly look like. And saying goodbye is one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do.

Cancer may have taken her body, but it never took her spirit. It never stole her kindness, her laughter, or the love she gave so freely. That is what will live on.

We will carry you with us in the flowers we plant, in the stories we tell, in the songs that remind us of you, and in the way we choose kindness because that’s how you lived your life. We promise to live fully, in your honor, every single day.Β

Thank you, Asha, for showing us what true courage looks like. Thank you for loving our family so well. Thank you for every laugh, every hug, every memory.

You will always be our sunshine.

Until we meet again. πŸ’›

Asha’s services will be held on Friday July 10th at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Church and a Celebration of Life at 2pm Durand Eastman Sunset Lodge.Β

Dearest Amy, Taber, and extended family, We were so heartbroken to hear that your sweet Asha was taken by her cancer this week. While we had never met Asha personally, I felt as if we did know her. She fought so hard and endured pain and suffering that none of us could even imagine enduring. She was a fierce warrior and is now a beautiful Angel. May God provide you with strength and peace during this extremely difficult time. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers and please know we are also sending hugs and kisses as well. Much love, John & Maria Miller (Ohio cousin)

Dear Amy, It was a blessing to get to know Asha and you as we prepared for the Lourdes Pilgrimage. The joy and grace that Asha brought to the fellow pilgrims was as special as she was. Amy, Asha, you and your family will remain in my prayers. Marguerite Baxter, Chief Nurse, Lourdes Pilgrimage
