Hello my name is Amber Canen!!! I normally never ask for help so this is way out of my comfort zone but I don't know what else to do. Also I'm normally the one helping others even in the situation that I'm in I would rather go without than let someone else suffer, but I have no where else to go but to ask for help. So I know this sounds cliche but the reason I'm in the situation I'm in is because of covid. We were doing so well before COVID hit, all our bills were paid, and we had extra money to do what we wanted with and help people when they needed it. A month before COVID hit I got a 2018 Hyundai Tucson and then bam COVID hit and literally screwed everything up. I was an "essential worker during the first 6 months of the pandemic, and still ended up where I'm at right now. So right after trump announced the pua, and everybody was getting une ployment, so we decided to fill an appl cation for my husband and of course he was approved, but we never recieved a payment but on the uia website all his payments said processed pending payment to one day denied. My hours got cut and we didn't have the money to pay my car payment, and all the other bills. Well in September of 2020 my car got repossessed and a week later my husbands bike got repossessed as well which ment I had to have my best friend take me to work and one day she never showed up, well the next day when I got to work I had 7 write ups waiting for me when I got there and ended up getting fired. I put my unemployment in and since Johnny's markets said I got fired for attendance, uia denied me even for the pua, as a veteran and a "essential worker". So now there no income coming into my house so I def couldn't afford to pay the bills. You may be asking why didn't u get a job, well that answer is simple, I live on bfe so I can't get a job without a car, and can't get a car without a job. I couldn't afford my bills which ment that my power was shut off, i couldn't pay my property taxes, and finally in August of 2025 my house got sold and now I'm living in a pop up camper on a friend of mines property, still with no car. Life has been extremely difficult for me these last 6 years and I haven't asked for help, if people offered I wouldn't turn it down but idk what else to do, I've done tried everything myself and nothing seems to go my way. So this is my last resort. I just need help getting back on my feet and would greatly appreciate the help and to finally catch a break. Items we need is a new/used camper and 2 used vehicles preferably one truck and one suv with awd anything would help!!!
