On April 24, 2026, Austin County Sheriff's Office Deputy Alyssa Lopez sustained serious injuries while serving our community during a lawful traffic stop. During the incident, she was run over, resulting in severe injuries that will require surgery and a lengthy recovery before she is able to return to duty.
As she has focused on healing over the past several months, the financial burden of her line-of-duty injury has continued to grow. This SupportNow fundraiser has been established to help with lost income, everyday household expenses, and other unexpected costs during her recovery.
Deputy Lopez answered the call to serve. Now, we're asking our community to answer the call to support her. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward helping her through this difficult time.
