In Support of Alyson Gooding & family

Alyson Gooding & family
Alyson recently experienced an unimaginable loss with the sudden passing of her husband, best friend, and partner in life, Evan, to suicide.

Alyson and Evan were newlyweds, having just married in June 2026. They were in a chapter of life that was supposed to be filled with beginnings: settling into their home, making plans for the future, creating traditions, and simply enjoying being husband and wife. They had purchased a home together and were building a life they loved alongside their beloved four-legged children.

They loved experiencing life together. Whether it was taking a recent trip to a Renaissance festival, spending time at home with their animals, or finding their next adventure, Alyson and Evan shared a love for making memories, having fun, and living life to the fullest. More than husband and wife, they were best friends.

Now, Alyson and their families are facing a future that changed in an instant.

As they grieve the loss of Evan and begin navigating the difficult days and months ahead, we want to surround Alyson and their families with the same love, compassion, and support they have so freely given to others.

This Fundraiser and Meal-train have been created to help ease some of the everyday burdens Alyson and their families are facing during this incredibly difficult time. Contributions will help with meals, household expenses, unexpected costs, and the many financial responsibilities that continue even in the midst of grief. Our hope is to give Alyson and their families the time and space they need to grieve, be together, and begin navigating this unimaginable loss without having to worry about what needs to be cooked, paid, or taken care of next.

There is no contribution too small. A meal, a donation, a gift card, sharing this page, or simply keeping Alyson, their families, and all those who loved Evan in your thoughts are meaningful ways to show support.

Evan was deeply loved, and his absence leaves an immeasurable space in the life Alyson believed they would have many more years to build together, as well as in the hearts of their families and everyone who knew and loved him.

There are no words capable of making a loss like this easier. What we can do is come together to help carry some of the weight that accompanies it and make sure Alyson and their families know they are surrounded by people who care.

Thank you for helping us surround Alyson and their families with love, meals, support, and a community to lean on as they take things one day at a time.

From myself and from the Walmart family, I'm sorry, Walmart is currently coming together too. When hearing about Evans passing it hurt bad. Not knowing Evan was struggling hurts- suicide awareness month will mean more and more each year.
