My husband, a dedicated veteran, has been in the V.A. hospital for 5 weeks battling stage 4 cancer. His condition has worsened since the colon surgery, and we were recently given the heartbreaking news that he might have only a few weeks left. His greatest wish is to travel to Florida to see our two children and meet our newest granddaughter. We are both on SSI, and without a vehicle, this journey is tough. Making things harder, our housing voucher was taken away, and I need to save our belongings from being lost forever. We are turning to you for support in our time of need.
