Hello family and friends,
On September 1, 2026, our family experienced a devastating house fire in the Bent Mountain area of Virginia. We lost our home, most of our belongings, and almost our lives. Even though we have homeowners insurance, we are still fighting with them and face great financial hardship. We are looking for ways to create safe and stable temporary living arrangements while working through the insurance and rebuilding process.
We need urgent help with essential infrastructure like water and septic systems, covering temporary housing costs, and replacing basic household necessities. With winter approaching, we must also replace all our winter clothes and winterize our property. We are trying to manage all these challenges while continuing to work full-time jobs. Your support would mean the world to us during this difficult time.
