The Hawk Family has always leaned on faith, family, and community through every season of life — and now, they are facing one of the hardest seasons yet. Their son Liam is bravely battling brain cancer, and overnight, life became filled with hospital stays, specialist appointments, treatments, uncertainty, and the emotional weight that comes with watching your child fight such a difficult battle.

Through it all, Liam continues to inspire everyone around him with his courage, strength, and resilience. Alison and Steven are doing everything they can to support Liam while also caring for their five children and keeping their family grounded in faith and hope during this journey.

As medical expenses continue to grow, the Hawk family is asking for support to help ease some of the financial burden they are carrying. Funds raised will help cover medical treatments, travel to specialists, hotel stays near the hospital, meals on the road, and everyday household expenses that continue while they focus on Liam’s care. Most importantly, this support helps keep their family together and allows Alison and Steven to spend their time where it matters most — beside Liam.

To every person who has prayed, checked in, sent messages, brought meals, helped with the kids, donated, or simply shown love to their family — thank you. Your kindness is helping carry them through moments that often feel impossible. Every act of support reminds them they are not walking this road alone.

As a Christian family, the Hawks continue to hold tightly to their faith and trust that God is present even in the middle of heartbreak and uncertainty. They believe Liam’s story is still being written, and they are deeply grateful for every prayer lifted on his behalf and for the love surrounding their family during this time.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

The Hawk family has chosen to centralize support here through SupportNow after previously using multiple platforms like GoFundMe, CaringBridge, and Meal Train. Managing several websites became overwhelming during an already difficult season. SupportNow allows everything to be organized in one place — including donations, meals, updates, prayers, practical support, and journaling Liam’s journey — while also helping reduce fees so more support goes directly to their family during this critical time.
