Stetson’s journey started with a traumatic birth injury, and while life-saving equipment and an incredible medical team kept him here with us, he experienced a lack of oxygen that caused hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE).
By 4 months old, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy — yet every day since, he has shown us what determination looks like. With the right support, he continues to grow, learn, and surprise everyone around him.

His parents are now working to get him into a therapy that could create real, lasting change: All Kids Are Perfect, a specialized Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) program.
What is Dynamic Movement Intervention?
DMI uses targeted, high-frequency movement patterns to help children build new motor pathways. It supports balance, core stability, postural reactions, coordination, and the strength needed for milestones like rolling, sitting, crawling, or even walking.
This therapy is also time-sensitive — both because early intervention offers the greatest gains, and because sessions become more challenging as a child grows and gains weight. Starting now gives Stetson the best chance at long-term progress.

Stetson is scheduled for two rounds of intensive therapy at All Kids Are Perfect in Cary, NC:
- Round 1: Two-week intensive in January
- Round 2: A second trip later in the year for continued progress
Each round includes the therapy cost plus flights, lodging, meals, and local transportation. When all expenses are factored in, the family is looking at approximately $9,000 per trip.
