In Support of Scott & Dawn Russell

Hello to all Family and Friends.

Our friend, THS classmate and dedicated family man, Scott Russell (THS Class of '87), has been unexpectedly hospitalized with a rare form of encephalitis called:  rhombencephalitis. 

This is life threatening situation. He has been in a coma and on a ventilator for the past few weeks as doctors make minute by minute decisions to save his life.

We do not know what the outcome will be, and we are all hoping and praying that Scott pulls through! 

For the past few weeks, his loving wife Dawn (THS Class of '88) has stayed by his side, consulting with the medical team and praying for her husband to wake up. Dawn is at the hospital day and night. 

After raising a family in Western New York, where he was employed at Dunlap/Sumitomo for 31 years, Scott and Dawn moved to North Carolina 1 year ago. They started a business and bought a home. This was their dream for years and they made it come to fruition.

Now, with this sudden turn of events causing Scott to fight for his life, everything is at risk as medical and household bills pile up. 

I still remember the joy of their wedding 21 years ago. They are loved by so many. Let's come together for Scott and his family in their time of need.
