Hello, dear family and friends!
After nearly 10 years of being cancer-free, our beloved Pam is once again facing ovarian cancer. This recurrence has brought a new round of challenges, including months of chemotherapy, an extended recovery, and an unexpected financial burden.
Pam has always worked hard to support herself and maintain her independence. But as someone who lives alone and relies on a single income, stepping away from work to focus on treatment has left her in a particularly difficult position.
Her treatment and recovery are expected to keep her from working for approximately a year. Although she has applied for Social Security Disability benefits, she is still waiting for a decision, and in the meantime, her regular bills and living expenses haven't stopped.
This is where her village comes in.
Whether it's a financial contribution to help keep a roof over her head and the lights on, a meal, a ride to an appointment, help with everyday tasks, or simply a little encouragement on a difficult day, every act of kindness makes a difference.
Pamela has a long road ahead, but she doesn't have to travel it alone. Let's come together to help ease the burden so she can put her energy where it belongs: on treatment, healing, and getting back to the life she loves.
Thank you for being part of her village. ππ©΅
