In Support of Miguel Yañez Sr.

Hello Friends and Family, 
My dad Miguel Yañez Sr had a life saving surgery back in January prior to that he rapidly lost weight, energy and independence.  He was hospitalized a second time in critical condition in February and also diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  My sister Yvonne ( Evie) stopped working late February to care for him full time, take him to his multiple appointments among other things. I (Elizabeth) have set up this registry mostly to provide my sister support  with meals or grocery gift cards  to help minimize financial stress and/or cooking fatigue as my dad starts his first chemo 
(scheduled April 6th) this Monday.  I am hoping that as we send support my sister and her immediate family have one less thing to worry about.  If providing a home cooked meal please select a date ( shellfish allergy).  If you are choosing to send a gift card, you do not have to choose a date.  By pass the dates and select send a gift card.  An instacart gift card is helpful as they can order at the grocery store of their choice and pick up the groceries without added fees.  I thank you all in advance.

Hola, amigos y familiares: Mi papá, Miguel Yañez Sr., se tuvo una cirugía vital el pasado mes de enero; antes de ello, había perdido rápidamente peso, energía e independencia. Fue hospitalizado por segunda vez en estado crítico en febrero, en el que también se le diagnosticó cáncer de páncreas. Mi hermana Yvonne (Evie) dejó de trabajar a finales de febrero para cuidarlo a tiempo completo, llevarlo a sus múltiples citas médicas y encargarse de otras gestiones. Yo (Elizabeth) he creado este registro principalmente para brindar apoyo a mi hermana con comidas o tarjetas de regalo para el supermercado, con el fin de ayudar a aliviar el estrés financiero y/o el agotamiento que conlleva cocinar, justo cuando mi papá comienza su primera sesión de quimioterapia (programada para el 6 de abril) este mismo lunes. Espero que, al enviarle nuestro apoyo, mi hermana y su familia directa tengan una preocupación menos de la que ocuparse. Les agradezco a todos de antemano.
