💙 Meet Baby Ivan 💙 

Baby Ivan was born in July and is already proving to be a fighter. 

At birth, doctors discovered a heart murmur. Initially, they believed it to be mild and could possibly resolve on its own, but an echo and EKG this week revealed the opposite—severe pulmonary valve stenosis along with two holes in his heart. Now Ivan now needs emergency heart catheterization. 

⏰ His surgery is scheduled for just 1 week from today. 

This is an overwhelming situation for the family. The procedure can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and to make matters harder, Cook Children’s does not accept their health insurance. 

We, Ivan’s family and friends, are rallying around them in this critical time.
