Hello to all the wonderful family and friends of Mandy.
Recently, Mandy was diagnosed with breast cancer and has started chemotherapy which will continue for 18 weeks. After this, she will have surgery and will also need radiation treatments. Being the badass she is, she has already given herself a warrior goddess head shave with the help of her daughter Lila. Like most of the way she attacks things in life, she is facing all of this sudden news with optimism and tenacity, seeing the ways she can also learn and grow from life's challenges. The financial realities however, as a small business owner and mother, can be staggering.
I have organized this fundraiser knowing that Mandy never would. If you are able to give, even $10, it will be used to support Mandy, Jay, Oskar and Lila through the next year as they travel the rocky landscape that is our healthcare system.
