In Support of Mac Douangchandy

Hello family and friends!

My aunt, Mac Douangchandy, is facing an extremely challenging time… the fight of a lifetime. She is currently in the hospital and was  diagnosed with advanced stage colon cancer and is currently recovering from surgery. This has been a HUGE SHOCK and devastating. Our hearts are completely shattered.

She has a long road ahead with surgery recovery and chemotherapy. She is also the sole provider for her family, which includes being a caregiver for my elderly grandmother. 

The financial burden is overwhelming from everyday bills to upcoming medical bills!

We lost my uncle to cancer less than 2 years ago and my other uncle is still facing deportation, while being actively detained. Our family is living yet another nightmare. 

My aunt is one of the most selfless people I know. If you know her, she’s probably helped you in some way and never asks or accepts help. If you need her, she’ll find a way to help. She never complains about helping and does so with a huge open heart. 

She needs our support right away to focus on her healing without the stress of financial worries.

And lastly, if you pray, please pray hard. 
None of us can imagine a life without her in it so we will fight this fight together.
