Aunt Mac is home just in time to celebrate her oldest son’s (Matthew) 30th birthday.
Matthew has been by her side since day 1 of the hospitalization, through the multiple tests, and then the scary diagnosis & surgery recovery. He’s taken time off work to help our family transform their front living room downstairs into a custom, safe, & beautiful bedroom so she can rest, recover, be near family, & avoid climbing up stairs! He definitely didn’t plan to “celebrate” his birthday this way but always puts a smile on his face no matter what.
Aunt Mac is taking short walks to the restroom independently, getting use to a new way of living post surgery due to drains etc, & she’s very motivated to push forward on this cancer journey.
We know any diagnosis especially one like cancer can be overcome when surrounded with love and support, so thank you for all your donations!!
