Hello family and friends!

We’ve created this page to share important updates about Linda. Linda is facing breast cancer for the third time. Plot twist- This time it has affected her brain. What started in January with surgery to remove what doctors were pretty sure was a benign pituitary tumor causing vision issues, is in actuality a reoccurrence of the breast cancer that she faced in 2011 and 2017. 

After four months of waiting and doctors visits that raised more questions than answers, it finally feels as though we are gaining some traction in the way of a treatment plan. More testing and additional visits to the Mayo Clinic will be needed, but it sounds like radiation will be in her future.

I’ve noticed that each time my mom has had to face cancer, the science has improved. We know more and have more options. I’m grateful for that. At the same time, I notice how much my mom’s trust in God has grown each time and how much everyone in our family has grown and comes together to show up for her. Cancer sucks, but it does make our blessings obvious.
