On Tuesday, August 25, Leilani Baum tragically and unexpectedly lost her husband, Kenneth “Kenny” Lee Baum Jr., at just 37 years old in an act of violence try to do what he always did, protect the people he loved.

Kenny was deeply loved by so many. He was the only son of his parents, the only brother to his three sisters, a devoted husband and father to his three sons, and a loyal friend to many who became like family. Kenny was the kind of person who would do anything to help someone he loved—especially during their time of need. Now, we are asking our community to show that same love and support to his family.

As the sole provider for his household, Kenny’s sudden passing has left his family facing funeral costs and everyday living expenses while grieving and trying to navigate an unimaginable new chapter with their two young sons. Like many young families, they never expected to have to prepare for funeral expenses at such a young age.

Any support would mean more than words can express. Donating a meal can help ensure Leilani and her sons have one less thing to worry about during this heartbreaking time. Monetary donations will go directly toward Kenny’s funeral expenses and the family’s essential living costs.

Please consider donating, providing a meal, or sharing this page. Every act of kindness—no matter the size—will help surround Leilani and her sons with the love and support they need as they grieve Kenny and begin moving forward without him.

Rob and I bought Kenny's childhood home on Ki gs Arms Drive. We even talked to Kenny as he said he wanted to buy his old home back. Our hearts are broken for the family's loss.

So very sorry to hear about this senseless loss. Let us pray that God welcomes him into his heavenly kingdom with open arms and eases the suffering of all who morn his passing. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
