We are reaching out to share important news about our beautiful and amazing friend, Kelly Shirley.  Over the weekend, Kelly went to the Emergency Room with symptoms that suggested she might have a pulmonary embolism.  Unfortunately, her CAT scan showed 3 masses in her right lung.  She was admitted to the hospital and from there, it's been a whirlwind.  She had a thoracentesis, then yesterday a PET scan and a biopsy.  After the results of the PET, she has been diagnosed with Lung Cancer Metastatic to the Lymph Nodes.  This has been devastating and shocking news for Kelly and her family.  They are still awaiting the in final results of the biopsy to know how they will proceed with treatment.
This new reality hasn't even set in yet, but we know Kelly is strong and is a fighter.  If anyone can beat this, its her.  But as they enter this new reality, we wanted to set up this page as a way to keep people updated and have a place to show their support for Kelly and her family.
