Hello Family + Friends: we’re forever grateful for all the support Karen had received in the last years. She has felt indescribable love. As she goes thru her journey, it is important to understand the depth of this journey.

For those who are new: Karen was dx w/ Stage 4 Colon Cancer in 2022. She completed multiple rounds of aggressive chemo, a 21-procedure intensive surgery (HIPEC), in addition to lifestyle & alternative care. She rang the chemo bell and after everything she was finally given the beautiful news of "No evidence of disease" In Oct. of '23
We strived for a cure. Despite knowing this was an aggressive cancer with high chance of recurrence, we hoped it was gone for good as she had achieved remission. After all, she’s endured so much that would've done the job. However, the aggressive cancer has slowly found it's way back just 3 months after chemo completion, returning to liver, colon, peritoneal, diaphragm, spleen and now pelvic, lung and intracostal areas. Our dear Karen has been gracefully battling again since early '24 and needs more aggressive external resources. Her medical options are now more limited and as many of you may know that with treatment comes increased expenses and strain on her family. It's an immensely challenging time for all of us, but we know we'll get through it with the support of our strong faith & community.

We've set up a support net you can help at anytime during her chapters. Relief towards health & childcare related expenses, big or small, makes an immense difference and gives the best chance to thrive. She strives to live as normal as possible, work, stay positive and to share her findings and experience with others, advocating cancer prevention for all. I know we’ve done this before but Let's rally together to continue to support Karen through this journey, at different stages.

Ways you can help:
1. Donate what you can & Pray over her. Action activates faith.
2. ‘Share' with family & friends who you think would kare about this cause!
3. Support her small business if you find yourself needing what she offers. She enjoys work as much as she can. You can submit your request by text to 954-701-0065. Also this is her Z&lle or V&nmo.
4. Send a meal, volunteer for chilcare or errands when she is out of commission
5. Consider giving a small auto drafter bi-weekly amount that she can count on towards monthly health expenses. This is been very effective and easy for donors who enjoy getting regular updates from her.

Stay tuned for exclusive updates openly shared on @kancerfreekaren. Thank you so much for your love & support.

Love,
Carolina
