Dear Friends and Family,

It is with heavy hearts, but a profound sense of peace, that we share the news that our beloved Karen has passed away. She was our beautiful butterfly, and this week, she finally left her cocoon behind to fly free.

Karen passed away peacefully at home, just as she wished, surrounded by her family and wrapped in an abundance of love. While we are deeply saddened to say goodbye, we find immense comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the arms of Jesus, free from pain and full of the light she shared with all of us.

Karen didn’t just live life; she embraced it. Her motto was "Fear less, Live More," and she embodied those words every single day. She was a woman of many roles—a devoted mommy to 3 beautiful children, a loving wife, a precious daughter, a cherished sister, a brilliant businesswoman, and a fiercely loyal friend.

To know Karen was to know laughter. She was wonderfully goofy, always ready to dance, and she had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. She loved to cook, clean annd organize things. It’s one way she showed her love to others. She would always be dressed to the nines, lipstick and all. Above all, Karen loved Jesus. Her faith was her anchor, and it remained unshakable until the very end. Despite all that she was going through she told me she praises the Lord for all the tiny miracles he was performing for her each day, and she was so grateful for them.

Karen’s legacy is not just in the things she did, but in the people she loved. We see her spirit living on through her children, who carry her strength, her humor, and her "fearless" heart.

A loss this significant leaves a deep hole in our hearts, a space that will forever feel her absence. It is hard to imagine navigating the world without her vibrant energy. Yet, Karen left us with the most incredible gift: a treasure trove of videos and pictures she took throughout her life, especially during her Kancer journey. Through these, we can still hear her voice, see her smile, and be reminded of her strength.

She also left us with one another. Karen built a massive, beautiful community of people who loved her, and we know we can lean on each other for support and guidance as we navigate this grief. Together, we will lean on God and our shared faith to find our way forward

We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who made Karen feel so special, especially during her final days. Seeing the sheer number of people whose lives were impacted by her love has been breathtaking. Your donations, your meals, and your prayers allowed her to transition in peace, knowing her family was cared for.

Thank you for loving her so well. She will be missed beyond words, but we celebrate the fact that she lived a life truly full of purpose. In her honor, we hope you all choose to live a little more fearlessly today.

Forever in our hearts 🦋
With love and appreciation
