Hello, friends and family. If you've ever been just one emergency away from losing everything, I hope you'll take a moment to read my story. I'm Julie, a single mom trying to keep my family together against all odds.
This past year has been incredibly difficult. My 10-year-old son, who is nonverbal autistic, was diagnosed with epilepsy, adding to our challenges. I'm trying to manage his health while preparing for my own major surgery. To make things even harder, I recently lost my mom, my main support system, and now I'm left trying to piece everything together on my own. Without her, I've tried everything to earn a living, from detailing cars to selling personal items, but it's not enough to keep us going right now. My son's health and childcare needs have left us behind on rent, and when our car broke down, it was another hit we couldn't afford. We are struggling to keep our home, and I’m doing all I can to make sure my children feel secure.
