Meet Jaxon 💙
In February 2025, Jaxon contracted Influenza A, which led to a rare and devastating condition called necrotizing encephalitis — a severe inflammation of the brain that can cause tissue damage.
Jaxon spent 47 days at Riley Hospital, including 2 weeks in the ICU, where doctors told us the odds were unknown and to prepare for the worst. But God had a different plan. 🙏
Jaxon beat the odds, but he suffered a brain injury and two strokes, leaving him needing to re-learn everything — from walking and crawling to speaking and more.
This recovery is no small task, but Jaxon’s determination keeps us going every day.
Unfortunately, insurance covers very little of what he truly needs.
- Each therapy intensive costs around $6,000 (not including travel).
- His team recommends a Levity Walking Device ($7,500) to help him re-learn how to walk.
- We hope to get him into two more intensive sessions in the next year.
We’re asking for help to make this possible — through prayers, giving, and sharing Jaxon’s story.
