Help Us Through This Journey of Faith, Healing, and Hope
Dear family, friends, and compassionate supporters,
With humble hearts, we are reaching out to ask for your prayers and financial support during an incredibly difficult chapter of our lives.
Two years ago, our lives changed when Natalie received the devastating diagnosis of colon cancer. Since that time, there have been multiple surgeries, treatments, medical expenses, and the many unexpected costs that come with fighting a serious illness. Earlier this year, the cancer was found to have metastasized to the lung, and surgery was required to remove it. What began as a diagnosis has become a long and challenging journey that has taken an emotional, physical, and financial toll.
Today, 8/14, another surgery is scheduled as doctors address further metastasis. As we prepare for this next step, the financial burden has become overwhelming. We are now asking for help to raise funds to assist with medical expenses, recovery-related costs, and other financial obligations resulting from this ongoing battle.
Asking for help is not easy. We have always tried to handle life’s challenges on our own, but this is one burden that has simply become too heavy to carry alone and so we reach out to our community.
Through every surgery, every difficult appointment, every setback, and every uncertain day, our faith has continued to carry us. We believe that God is present even in the hardest seasons, and we continue to trust Him for strength, healing, provision, and peace.
> *“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1*
We know that not everyone is in a position to contribute financially, and we completely understand. If you cannot give, your prayers are just as meaningful to us. Please pray for healing, strength, wisdom for the medical team, peace for our family, and continued faith through whatever lies ahead.
If you are able to contribute, every donation—regardless of the amount—will make a meaningful difference. Your generosity will help relieve some of the financial pressure so that we can focus our energy where it belongs: on healing, recovery, and being together as a family.
Close contacts that have our personal information can contribute via Zelle: to Natalie/Alan. Venmo: Alan. See also number 4 above.
We also ask that you consider sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends, church community, and others who may be willing to help. Sometimes a simple share can reach someone who is able to make an extraordinary difference.
We are deeply grateful for every prayer, every encouraging word, every donation, and every person who walks alongside us during this journey. We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we continue to believe that God is faithful, He is with us, and He will provide a way forward.
Thank you for standing with us, believing with us, and helping us carry this burden.
May God bless you and your family abundantly for your kindness, compassion, and generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude and faith,
Gomez Family
