Day 5 – 8/18 – Can it get any hotter? Yes, it can. 🥵

While we’re experiencing record temperatures outside, we were doing the same inside. Yesterday, we were without AC for about five hours. Of course, we troubleshot—changed the batteries, checked the breaker—but in the end, hubby called the expert. DJ with Camelback Air showed up within an hour and 45 minutes and got us taken care of. 🙏

In this series of events, I’m reminded that the plan is not mine. God has a plan, and I’m learning to lean on Him and be still and follow. 

I practice yoga, and shavasana is the hardest pose for me—being still.

I will continue to rest and heal, and to learn to be still while trusting in His plan. God has never failed to meet me where I am. I will keep walking because I know who walks with me.

Thank you for taking the time to share with me and my family—the sunrises, sunsets, pet and family pictures, laughs, and so much more. My heart is full. I am beyond grateful for all of you. ❤️
