My name is Hallie, and I’m Diane’s cousin. I’m organizing this fundraiser together with Michele Potter, one of Di and Tullio’s closest friends. We’re coming together to support a family we love deeply.
In November, Tullio suffered a sudden hemorrhagic stroke that changed life in an instant. His recovery has been a whirlwind of hospital stays, therapy, and countless challenges, but through strength and determination, he is finally home.
Since the very beginning, Di has been by his side, advocating for him, caring for him, and doing everything in her power to support his recovery. On top of that, she has been holding together every other part of their life: their home, their family, and the responsibilities that don’t pause even in the hardest moments.
As grateful as they are for Tullio’s progress, the financial strain continues to grow. Medical bills and recovery expenses are piling up, and one of the biggest concerns is that Di needs to return to work, yet they do not have home‑health coverage. This leaves the family facing an impossible choice between income and ensuring Tullio has the support he needs during this critical stage of healing.
If you know Tullio and his family, you know they are the first to show up for others. They are deeply rooted in their community, always giving, always helping, always lifting others when they need it most. Now, it’s our turn to show up for them.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and allow Tullio to continue his recovery safely at home. Your generosity, prayers, and support mean more than words can express. Please feel free to share. For those who prefer to help in other ways, there is also a Meal Train link available.
