In Support of Cassandra and Michael Merriman

Hello dear family and friends,

Cassandra Merriman and her family need your support. Cassandra is a dedicated wife, mother, and passionate home educator, homeschooling her four children for a decade. She has been a guiding light in the homeschooling community as a volunteer leader. Recently, Cassandra received a challenging diagnosis of two meningioma brain tumors. These tumors have caused her brain to shift, her left eye is being pushed outward, and bone overgrowth, leading to focal aware seizures.  Thankfully, she has a confident medical team that is working to find medication to ease her symptoms and help prepare her for surgery. Cassandra will require surgery in August to remove one tumor and the bone overgrowth affecting her left eye. After surgery, her husband Michael will be caring for her for 6 Weeks. 
Right now, Cassandra needs this support so that she can focus entirely on healing. Her goal is to raise $12,300 to cover her medical bills, 3 weeks of unpaid leave for her husband, childcare assistance, and medical recovery supplies.
