Hi everyone,
It has officially been 14 days since my staples were removed, and I had another wonderful follow-up visit with my neurosurgeon today!
Dr. Payner was very pleased with how good my incision is healing. Best of all, I have officially been cleared to start working back into my normal activities! Gratefully, I had already started easing into small parts of my daily routine, and having the green light to keep progressing and building strength in everyday tasks feels like such a huge victory. I am super thankful for how far I’ve come.
My vision is still an area I’m actively working on, so he gave me some visual exercises to practice at home. Next month, I will have a post-op baseline MRI to monitor the surgical site and keep a close eye on my right-sided meningioma.
I cannot say enough good things about my neurosurgeon, Dr. Troy Payner. So many people have shared stories about how much they loved him for their surgeries, and I feel beyond blessed to have had him in my corner through all of my procedures.
Day by day, we are taking slow, steady steps forward. Thank you all so much for the continued prayers, encouragement, and love for our family!
