On Saturday, August 1, Camden's world changed dramatically when she was urgently flown from Bangor to Portland due to a brain aneurysm. She had emergency brain surgery on August 2 to manage the situation and is now being cared for in the Neuro ICU at Maine Medical Center.
Her stay will be at least two weeks, but her journey to recovery will continue for weeks and months ahead. The path forward will be full of ups and downs, so we aim to lessen the financial pressures from medical bills, travel, and lost work so Camden can focus entirely on healing.
