How to Access Donated Funds

SupportNow makes it simple and secure for donations to reach the right person. 

Whether you’re the Organizer (who creates the registry), or the Beneficiary (who receives the funds), the process is straightforward.

The first step is adding a Beneficiary - either yourself or the person/family you’re supporting. 

Once added, they’ll receive detailed instructions and links to set up their account via Stripe Connect (our payment processing partner).

With everything complete in Stripe, they’ll be able to request payouts whenever they’d like. 

SupportNow is free to use, and the only place where families can keep 100% (when donors choose to RoundUp). If donors choose not to roundup, a 2.7% processing fee is deducted to cover payment processing fees.  

Beneficiaries receive two free payouts every 30 days, with small fees for additional payouts.

After being added, Beneficiaries receive an email to set up a secure Stripe Connect account, required for bank transfers. 

Once Stripe is connected and donations have cleared (approx. 48 hrs), beneficiaries can request payouts from their “Your Dashboard”, which can be found by clicking on “Your Profile” on the top navigation bar. 

Please be sure to choose "Individual", as opposed to "Business".  If/when prompted for a business website, please list "www.SupportNow.org"

Standard payouts are processed within 24 hours, while expedited payouts are transferred within 1 hour (M-F 8 AM to 8 PM ET). Once processed, funds typically arrive 2-3 business days, though timing may vary by bank. Stripe may request additional security verification, so beneficiaries should monitor emails and text messages. 

Organizers select add the Beneficiary once. Beneficiaries then complete setup and can request payouts whenever they’d like. 

Donors can give with confidence, knowing contributions are securely tracked and delivered.
