💙 Standing Beside Asher and the Dominguez Family 💙
Our sweet Asher Dominguez, age 7, has already shown the world what true strength looks like. Living with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), Pulmonary Hypertension, Chronic Respiratory Disease and a blood disorder,Asher has always been a special but very complex superhero. He has lived this life of his with such grace and has made each diagnosis look like a breeze. Always facing each situation with such optimism and finding ways to bring light to dark circumstances.
Asher unfortunately has suffered a sporadic Hemorrhagic stroke caused by a brain bleed, and is currently in critical condition. His loving parents, Cassandra and Adam, have not left his side, faithfully caring for him around the clock as he begins what doctors are calling a long inpatient journey toward healing. Asher’s recovery doesn’t have a handbook, and there is still many unknowns. We do know that Asher has sustained brain damage to multiple areas of his brain, and we have been told that he will face challenges during this next chapter of his life. We aren’t sure how exactly this injury will affect him, and how severe, but we do know he will need intensive therapies for some time to come after handling the acute period of the injury itself.
As you can imagine, this time has been an emotional rollercoaster and nightmare filled with hope, fear, and endless prayers. Along with caring for Asher, Cassandra and Adam are also doing their best to tend to their two other children, who are spending much of their time at the hospital. It’s a lot—emotionally, financially, and physically.
That’s where community comes in. 💛
We are gathering together—family, friends, and kind-hearted supporters—to surround the Dominguez family with love and practical support. Your help makes a difference in ways big and small. Whether it’s sharing this page, giving a donation, offering a meal, or simply sending words of encouragement it all matters deeply. What this family continues to ask for most is prayers. They all continue to have strong and miraculous faith and will stand strong in prayer and a higher power above our human capability.
