Anew exists for moments exactly like this.
Right
now, Anew has the opportunity—and the responsibility—to say yes
to teens who have already faced more than any young person ever should. Two teens
have reached out for help, asking for wraparound, trauma-informed services
after surviving the unimaginable. The only thing standing between them and safety
is capacity.
Our immediate goal is to restore six
months of operating reserves so we can confidently and sustainably open
two additional beds as soon as possible. Doing so allows Anew to
say yes—not just once, but again and again—to young lives that are desperately seeking
protection, stability, and healing.
This is a direct
ask, and I’m approaching it the same way I would if this were for my own
child—because the stakes are just as real.
If you are in
a position to make a one-time gift today in ANY amount, you will
be helping us reach our goal of raising over $200,000 so Anew can
adequately and sustainably say yes to multiple new clients in the
coming month or two. If 2,000 people give $100, we can reach this
goal overnight. This need is big—but it becomes possible when a
village moves together.
I want to acknowledge how heavy
this ask may feel. But my mindset is simple: if we don’t ask, and if we
don’t respond—then who will?
This is not a need
that will be met by one person, family, business, or church alone. This
is a village moment. A moment to step into a gap that is life-changing,
that can prevent future victimization, and that answers the desperate
prayers of loved ones, advocates, and professionals who are urgently searching for
safe, adequate placements.
Please hear
my heart in this: I am not asking for anything I am not doing myself and
willing to continue doing. I am inviting you to join me and Anew’s current
donors to multiply what is possible right now—when it’s needed most.
Please
give if you can. Please share far and wide. Please follow along.
