Anew and an Urgent Need
We are overwhelmed by the response of generosity we've seen this week! Here are just a few of the miracles we've seen.
-a couple sold their van and donated half of their proceeds to this goal of opening 2 more beds in our safe home!
-donors have spanned across our state and beyond, reflecting the distance we are receiving referrals!
-over half of our donors have been first time givers to Anew!
-because of your sharing with loved ones, friends, and small groups, your generosity is multiplying!
Please continue to pray, give, and share as you feel led! The need is urgent for those waiting on a bed to become available. One teen is waiting in a juvenile detention center until she is accepted into a program like ours in the state. Waitlists are anywhere from 2-6 months. Although she has made the absolute most of the year she has been incarcerated, through continuing her education, participating in life skill and self esteem classes, and attending counseling and Bible studies, this is not where she belongs. She has been through so much in her young life and she is ready to keep building for her future of thriving and sustainability. She is already a leader through her story of determination and there is no doubt that she is going to impact so many other young survivors' lives as she continues to heal and get stronger.
