Amy's cancer has returned and it has now spread to her lymph nodes and lungs. She has been told her cancer is no longer curable, but we are hopeful that it is treatable. She is beginning chemotherapy and immunotherapy immediately. Amy is devastated by this news and is going to fight like hell to beat the odds. She is looking at second opinions at OHSU and open to any research trials that she may qualify.
Amy is needing to be off work while she focuses on her treatment, healing, and regains her strength. She is a single income and although she has insurance, large medical copays are already arriving.
