Amy had her 2nd opinion GYN/Onc appointment today at OHSU.  The doctor confirmed her current treatment plan is the ideal treatment so that was very reassuring!  She also confirmed that Amy’s markers indicate that the cancer should respond to this regime.  Amy will have frequent follow up PET scans during and after treatment to assess the response.  In the end, it was very helpful to know Amy is already on the right path.  She also now has a 3rd oncologist on her team to help coordinate the most appropriate care.  

This week has been a little better for Amy after her first round of chemo last Monday.  Her nausea and pain have improved although she lacks much of an appetite.  She also fatigues easily so simple chores tire her quickly.  For those who would like to help with needs/tasks, she said he best way would be to text her directly.  Or feel free to message me and I can also help coordinate.
