Meet Amelia, a joyful 24-month-old from Chattanooga, TN, who has already shown incredible resilience in her young life. After experiencing HIE (Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy) at birth, Amelia was recently diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. While her early journey has come with challenges, her bright spirit shines through—and so does the unwavering love and determination of her parents, Kyndal and Kenton.
Through their search for the best care to optimize her abilities, Kyndal and Kenton discovered specialized intensive therapy programs, like All Kids Are Perfect in North Carolina. These therapies are designed to help children like Amelia make meaningful physical progress—learning to crawl, balance, walk, and so much more.
This kind of early intervention is crucial and time-sensitive, as Amelia is in the most important window of brain plasticity and development. Unfortunately, these therapies are not covered by insurance, and the cost is steep: about $18,000 for two sessions this year, including OT, travel, and lodging.
We believe Amelia deserves every chance to grow, move, and thrive. That’s why we’re inviting you to be part of her journey—by following along, sharing her story, and, if you’re able, supporting her mission for mobility and independence.
We’ll keep sharing updates on her progress and celebrating every milestone together.
With hope and gratitude,
Team Amelia
