Amelia's Bright Future
I'm so excited to finally share:
Next month, Amelia is heading back to All Kids Are Perfect for her second intensive!
Last October changed everything for her and we’re ready to see what else is possible!
A Quick Recap:
In just two weeks of therapy, she went from needing constant support…
to sitting a little more independently, playing on her own, exploring our home, communicating with us — and even hands and knees crawling 3 months post intensive. 🥹(for a deeper dive on this, read previous update: Was the $10,000 worth it?)

Her first intensive gave us a glimpse of what’s possible.
And now, we know what to expect so we’re going back to build on that momentum!
When + Where
📍 All Kids Are Perfect: Cary, NC

🗓 May 11–22
For two weeks, Amelia will be immersed in one of the most focused therapy environments available — designed specifically to help kids make rapid progress during early developmental windows.
What This Intensive Looks Like:
This round will be even more intentional and intense than the last.
Week 1: two physical therapy sessions a day
Week 2: three sessions a day — excited to be adding Occupational Therapy!
Week 2: three sessions a day — excited to be adding Occupational Therapy!
That’s 25 therapy visits in just two weeks.
It’s a lot — for her, and for us — but it’s also where we’ve seen the biggest breakthroughs happen and know it’s worth every effort.
Why This Matters So Much:
These intensives aren’t just “extra therapy.”
They’re designed to build momentum in a way that weekly sessions simply can’t — especially during this stage of Amelia’s development.
Right now is a critical window.
A time where her brain and body are learning, adapting, and making connections faster than they ever will again.
And we’ve already seen what can happen when she’s given the opportunity.
This time, we’re believing for even more:
✨ Sitting without support on the floor (she still needs a chair)
✨ Sitting without support on the floor (she still needs a chair)
✨ Confidence in her gait trainer — and eventually independent walking
✨ Greater independence in everyday life
✨ Continued growth in how she communicates with us and the world around her
✨ Greater independence in everyday life
✨ Continued growth in how she communicates with us and the world around her
✨ Steps toward potty training, before she starts school
How We’re Making It Work This Time:
This trip will look a little different than the last — and in the best way — our home is coming with us…
Last time, the hotel was a huge expense and didn’t serve our family well - it actually made an already intense experience even harder.
So this time we’ll be living in our camper for the two weeks. While camping in and of itself is hard, we’re hoping that it’s a steady home base for our family while we’re there. More importantly this allows a way for grandparents to help! (We all know how valuable it is to have grandparents help!)
Barrett will be with us this time, and Kenton’s parents will be able to camp right beside us — helping care for him during long therapy days so we can both fully show up for Amelia.
It truly takes all of us, and having this kind of support helped us make the choice to go again.
We are so expectant going into this next round.
Grateful for how far Amelia has already come…
and hopeful for all that’s still ahead.
and hopeful for all that’s still ahead.
And while this update is about when we’re going and a reminder of our why — we are still in the process of raising funds to make it all possible.
One thing we learned last time is this: together, little becomes much. 🙌🏼
Whether that looks like supporting, sharing, or simply following along and cheering Amelia on — it all matters more than we can say. Thank you for being part of her story 🤍
Until the next one,
Kyndal
