In Support of Allisons' Recovery Period
Hello family and friends!
Allison is in need of your kindness and support. After a challenging time that included emergency hospitalizations and a life-changing event, she’s been diagnosed with several health conditions. This includes ADHD, Autism, lymphatic colitis, seizures, vestibular migraines, and COPD, as well as sustaining brain damage after a brutal assault by a now ex partner. This has made working as a general manager and tax preparer difficult, impacting her ability to provide for her 19-year-old son, who also needs special care. She is currently awaiting disability determination, and hopefully support, but faces urgent challenges in the meantime and struggles to make ends meet without any savings or resources left. She's hopeful for a less demanding role in the future, focusing on the parts of her job she loves the most. For now, she's navigating medications and specialist appointments, all while in therapy and working closely with her doctors.
