Hello,
Alex is going through a challenging time after recently being diagnosed with cancer. We’ve created this page to make it easy for friends, colleagues, and loved ones to support her in practical ways during treatment and recovery.
Here are a few ways to help:
- Make a monetary donation to help with the increased expenses that come with treatment and recovery.
- Send a gift card for DoorDash, South Block, or Whole Foods.
- Volunteer to provide a meal. Meals should be dairy-free. Alex is otherwise flexible with food, and when in doubt, vegan options are typically a safe choice. Because dairy is an allergy, please check ingredients carefully; Johns Hopkins dairy-free diet guidance is available for reference.
- Lend a hand with errands and other practical needs as they come up (e.g., Costco runs, moving things, or other errands while she’s on lifting restrictions).
- Share or follow this page to stay connected and help spread the word.
