In Support of Wisner Transitions

Hello friends and family! 

As many of you know, Ernie's father passed recently, the late great Captain Ron Wisner.  
Ernie has been handling things admirably, balancing his added duties with the emotional adjustment, and the physical challenges of salvage-limb self-care.  But it is hitting him hard.  
I've been cutting back on outside commitments to support his family (transportation, logistics, communications, physical presence).  This means putting aside certain side gigs and overtime that usually help us maintain a reserve for emergencies, such as recent car repairs and my New Year's appendectomy. 

We are realizing we could use help with things we could normally do ourselves, both routine and unexpected (like tree pruning, house cleaning, grocery runs, and a failing upright freezer).  Financial contributions let us lean on expert services for smooth and reliable progress on potentially dangerous or unpleasant tasks; volunteer and friendly visits are wonderful for morale, respite and simple "two-legged" tasks that let Ernie do his kitchen magic more easily.

This site is set up for donations and unpaid, volunteer help.  For paid help or reimbursible expenses (such as grocery shopping or house calls for expert services), please continue to reach out directly.
