My name is Veronica, and I'm reaching out to ask for your support. I'm 37 years old and have been living with lupus, dermatomyositis, polymyositis, and other autoimmune diseases for the past three years. During this time, I have endured three back surgeries in less than two months, which have left me with severe neurological damage and the need for an ostomy bag. Recently, I suffered a stroke, resulting in nerve damage on my left side and causing foot drop. With four children, including toddlers, and being far from family and friends, it has been increasingly difficult to manage daily challenges. I'm currently facing a major financial struggle as I await a decision on my SSI appeal that has been ongoing since last year.
