In Support of V. Wilder

V. Wilder
I am a mother of two trying to regain basic stability after an escalating pattern of coercive control by a former partner and co-parent.

Law enforcement recently advised me to stop responding to him directly. Since I stopped engaging, the pressure has shifted to the essential things I depend on to survive and care for my children. My automobile insurance was canceled, followed by repeated demands that I immediately obtain replacement coverage despite having very limited funds. My electricity and housing have also become sources of pressure. Most recently, a purported bill of sale was produced concerning my vehicle. I did not sign, authorize, or agree to any bill of sale. If the document contains a signature represented as mine, that signature is not mine.

I paid the vast majority of the agreed purchase price for the vehicle through direct payments, transferred property, and work I performed. The title was never transferred as promised. I rely on this car for employment, medical care, parenting responsibilities, and everyday necessities. Losing transportation or being unable to insure the vehicle would make an already unstable situation significantly worse.

This is not an isolated disagreement. I have preserved extensive documentation, including original message exports, emails, screenshots, payment records, witness support, counseling records, and certification from a family-violence organization. The communications show a prolonged pattern involving threats, degrading and sexualized messages, repeated unwanted contact, demands for access, and the use of housing, transportation, utilities, money, property, employment, and communication about my child as leverage.

I have attempted to resolve necessary matters calmly and in writing. However, when I disengage from arguments, another urgent issue often appears—insurance, the car, electricity, housing, property, or threats of legal action. I am now trying to address each issue through law enforcement, the courts, insurance providers, utility providers, victim advocates, and legal assistance rather than continuing direct conflict.

I am raising funds for immediate replacement automobile insurance, utility and housing stabilization, legal consultations, court and document costs, transportation expenses, and other urgent costs necessary to protect my children and establish independence.

For safety reasons, I am not publicly sharing names, exact locations, case numbers, photographs of my children, or detailed legal strategy. This is an active situation, and I do not want information about my next steps reaching the person involved. Documentation can be privately verified when appropriate.

I am not asking for help out of revenge. I am asking for enough breathing room to prevent transportation, electricity, housing, and other basic necessities from continuing to be used to force contact or compliance. Every donation will go toward creating immediate safety and long-term independence for my family.

Even a small contribution helps. Sharing this fundraiser outside my personal social circle would also mean a great deal, provided the link and identifying details are not sent to anyone connected to the person involved.

Thank you for helping me protect my stability, my ability to work, and my ability to care for my children.
