In Support of Trevor's Recovery
Our favorite guy Trevor was in a severe bike crash on the night of October 22nd. He was riding the Thursday Night Ride & went over the handlebars at a high speed. Luckily friends reacted quickly and he was taken by ambulance to Legacy Emmanuel. Trevor sustained many broken bones, a concussion, internal bleeding caused by a liver laceration, and a few other injuries that remain under observation.
After a few nights in ICU, he was moved to acute care and has shown great improvements! He is more alert and responsive, knows who and where he is, is able to feed himself, and has even managed to stand up and take a few steps with nurses assistance. Although he is making great progress, he has a long recovery with lots of medical care and big hospital bills ahead.Β
Please help raise some funds to support him so he can focus on his healing and recovery. His business, Abraham Fixes Bikes, also needs support! Bring your bike in for some work, now is the time. His partner Ashley has remained by his side, and been such a brilliant advocate and support for him. She will need some support too. Keep an eye out for meal train and other ways to help. And keep them in your thoughts as they work to heal and recover and get our good friend back in action.
