Earlier this week, a devastating fire in a Chesterfield, Virginia neighborhood resulted in the total loss of a home belonging to a dedicated member of our Henrico CASA team. While we are incredibly grateful that no lives were lost, the impact has been profound. In a matter of moments, an entire household was displaced, and with it, a lifetime of memories - photographs, keepsakes, and the everyday items that quietly hold meaning - were gone.
Stacy has long been a source of strength and support for others, working alongside volunteers who advocate for children experiencing abuse and neglect. Day in and day out, she helps ensure that children and families facing crisis are not alone. Now, she and her family are navigating their own unexpected and overwhelming loss, and working through immediate needs while beginning the long process of healing and rebuilding.
We invite our community to come together in support during this difficult time. Contributions will help cover essential needs and provide a measure of stability as the family moves forward.
